What I offer

  • Birth is such a bewildering experience. I am honored to witness such transformation! My purpose is to help you and those who love you feel comfortable and prepared for the transition to come. I am available at any point within the pregnancy to begin services, and recommend that it is never too early to reach out to a Doula if doing so provides you peace of mind. The depth and texture of my service is informed by what you need as a birther- and for everyone this will vary. Perhaps you would like guidance on creating a birth plan, desire a blessing ceremony prepared for you to welcome the birth, need a back massage, or all of the above (and much more!). The care I can provide, in addition to being present for labor and your birth, are very flexible to what truly makes you feel powerful as a birther. I incorporate gentle touch, spirituality, song, and evidence based research into my practice. Most importantly, I am your advocate in the birth room, whatever environment you choose. I help you make informed decisions that align with you birth philosophy and comfort. As a Certified Herbalist, I am able to provide pregnancy safe herbal support that can nourish your pregnancy, aid your birth, and help your body heal in postpartum.

Pregnancy and birthing may call us into our body deeper than ever before, and because of this, I deeply value trauma informed care. I walk into our interaction open to the possibility that previous traumas in your life may have resulted in complicated relationships with your body, and while we collaborate on bringing a healthy baby into the world, I am mindful of this. Birth, even when it goes different than we plan, holds an incredible opportunity to restore power where we feel it may have been lost.

Within a week of your birth, I like to provide you with a written birth story as I saw it through my eyes. For me this is a beautiful way to celebrate the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. I leave you with resources for postpartum support, and information about public services that can help you nurture your newborn.

If you have more questions and would like to learn more about what I offer, I encourage you to reach out and book a free consultation with me.

  • My care as an Abortion Doula is inspired by having my own abortion and a doula to accompany me. Making the decision to have an abortion is sometimes clear and easeful, sometimes grief-stricken and arduous. Sometimes both! Abortion are natural, and as old as time.

Experiencing this type of loss is complicated- just because we choose to release a pregnancy doesn’t mean that we don’t also feel grief, pain, and other complex emotions. I can help you understand your options, connect you to resources, and provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support for your process. As a Certified Herbalist, I provide nutritional and herbal remedies that nurture your healing recovery and ease the physical experience of a pregnancy release. I incorporate gentle touch and spirituality into my practice, and am happy to accommodate to any needs. After the abortion is complete, I will continue to check in with you if desired, as sometimes our support systems move on before we do. It is not necessary that I am present when the abortion takes place, though I can be if desired.

If you hold a spiritual relationship with your release, I can facilitate ceremony to help you connect to your experience. I invite your support system to be apart of this experience with us! We heal in community.

If desired, I can provide education about your reproduction cycle and cycle tracking as a birth control method. Understanding our anatomy can help us make informed sexual health decisions in the future.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions! The initial consultation is free and I operate on a sliding scale.

  • Plant medicine is a beautiful companion to the path of healing and thriving. I am a Certified Herbalist, and would delight in meeting you to discuss how we can work together to nurture your health, both through plant medicine and plant relationship. True to Herbalism’s alternative nature, I like to introduce you to the plants which assist us in their natural environment when possible. I believe that plants are most effective when we have a relationship with who they are and how they exist in the wild. I am happy to teach you how to make your own remedies and flower essences so you can go on with confidence in your self-healing capacities. Herbal knowledge is birth right- I feel fortunate to have this education, and I’d like to share it with accessibility in mind!

Our consultations will include a thorough health assessment that will give us insight to what plants may nurture you best. I look forward to hearing from you!
